FAQ

Is this medical advice?

No. EatsNest explains how a food compares with preferences you set. It does not diagnose, and it does not tell you what to eat. Read the package.

Do I have to pick preferences before I can look around?

No. Get started explains why they are asked, and Skip for now opens the app with them unset. You can set them later in Preferences.

Where do the foods come from?

The starter catalogue ships with the app. A product screen names its source. Open Food Facts is credited where a record came from there. A missing ingredient list is shown as unknown.

What does Light include?

Search, barcode and label scan, preference matching, and grocery lists. Light is a one-time purchase of $9.99.

What does Premier include?

Meal plans, a pantry with fridge-photo reading, receipt reading, voice commands, and one household. Premier is $11.99 per month or $99.99 per year. A launch rate may be shown while that offer is switched on.

Is the website account the same as the app?

Yes. Sign-up sends an email link. The session cookie is shared by eatsnest.com and app.eatsnest.com, so the plan and the signed-in data are the same account.

What happens to a photo?

A pantry or receipt photo is sent once so it can be read. It is not stored as your record, and it is not used to train a model. You confirm every suggested item before it is saved.
