Privacy

The short version

EatsNest stores the food preferences you choose and the lists you save. It does not collect a diagnosis or a medical record.

In guest mode everything you enter stays in this browser. Your preferences, lists, meal plan and pantry are stored on your own device and are not sent anywhere.

What we never ask for

• A diagnosis, a condition, or any medical record.
• Your body weight.
• Anything about your health beyond the food preferences you choose to set.

Photos

• A pantry photo is sent once so it can be read, and is not stored by us.
• Suggestions from a photo are only suggestions. Nothing is saved until you confirm it.
• You can delete the photo at any point, before or after it is read.
• Your photos are never used to train a model.

Voice and typed commands

• Tap to talk only. There is no wake word and no background listening.
• Speech is recognised by your own browser. No audio is sent to us and none is stored.
• We keep the interpreted action, never a transcript.

Receipts

• Receipt upload is opt-in and does nothing until you use it.
• We extract merchant, date, lines and prices so that you can review them.
• Nothing is scored until you confirm the lines.
• Deleting a receipt removes the image, the extracted lines and the analytics.
• Receipt data is never sold and never given to an advertising network.

If you sign in

Signing in stores your preferences and lists against your account so they follow you between devices. Row Level Security means an account can only ever read and write its own rows; global product data is read-only to everyone.

Deleting your data

Preferences has a “Clear my preferences” control that removes what is stored in this browser. Account deletion lands with accounts.
